Rock 'n Roll Ghost S8 E06 - Musician Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mark Lanegan)

Welcome back to the Rock 'n Roll Ghost Podcast. On this week's episode, the Ghost speaks with musician Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mad Season, R.E.M., Tuatara) about his path towards becoming a Zen monk, Buddhism and the state of the music industry. Martin also touches on his time in alternative era bands Screaming Trees, Mad Season, Tuatara and as part of R.E.M. - including his decision to decline taking over for original member Bill Berry. He also reflects on some of the friends he lost and confirms that he and fellow Screaming Trees members Mark Lanegan and the Van Conner brothers all still talk and get along (contrary to most music gossip).

This interview was done mere weeks before Lanegan passed away.
